Hi, I’m Dr. Marcy Atkins.

For years, I sat with families who felt stuck — not because they weren’t trying, but because traditional parenting advice wasn’t working.

It all sounded right on paper — but in real homes with real emotions? It didn’t hold.

 

So I started doing things differently.

 

I pulled from what I know as a psychologist — emotional regulation, attachment theory, brain development — and combined it with what I live as a parent.

What came out of it was something powerful: a parenting approach that’s sturdy, heart-centered, and actually works in the moment.

 

That’s what led me to create the Pier Parent Bootcamp — an 8-week journey for parents who are tired of meltdowns, power struggles, and second-guessing themselves.


It’s not about being perfect.
